Google is very known for it's internet-related services to people. This is the most used and popular search engine around the world. Billions of people generate it for every single day. We use it as a daily basis of our life that even in school or work we always used it. They become more convenient because many information are attached here and they also offer a nice platforms to make you more knowledgeable. However, Google did not stay of what they have right now, they created many varieties of apps and Google Docs is one of them created.




   Google Docs is a free Web-based application where documents and spreadsheet can be created, edited and stored. You can access this Google Docs in any computer you want as long as you have an internet connection and a full-featured web browser. Google Docs is compatible with presentation software and word processor applications. Users can manipulate their work and also this is the ideal for publishing an enterprise, maintaining blogs or creating work.


   Using a Google Docs, you need to have a google account which is also free to have access here. You can also decide who can access your document it's your own decision to led your work. It is also an alternative if you don't have a Microsoft Word.

   There are some advantage and disadvantage included in Google Docs, here are some of them:

ADVANTAGES:

1. Accessibility -  you can access Google Docs as long as you have an internet connection. This is very helpful especially with a student who take their productivity to the next level.
2. Free - it is a free program to use.
3. Easy to learn - Google Docs is very easy to pick up and straightforward. 
4. Import/Export - if you need to import some files it won't run into some error messages and issues.

DISADVANTAGES:

1. Weak presentation - unlike the Powerpoint, Google Docs does not have a variation of themes, templates or any slide transitions to make more presentable the information.
2. Internet access - when you are using Google Docs it is very required to have an internet connection. Yes, it's available 24/7 anywhere if there is internet access. It means no internet, no Google Docs.

     If I were able to choose what application I will be using I will choose the Microsoft Word because they have so many features to offers and it's very convenient for me because you can use this offline unlike the Google Docs you need internet access. I hope Google works for this because it can be a great alternative if their no Microsoft presented in computer. But, of course it will depend on you what application you will choose and used.

    Always choose the best application can make you more comfortable and no malfunctions will occur while you are working so you can have the best.
